Ethan Ekern, Router Operator
Newly introduced to Georgia’s aggressive driving, Ethan left his small town in Wisconsin and came to us to offer his CNC abilities. Having 6 years of prior experience on these machines at furniture manufacturer, he broke away from the monotony of furniture parts to help create one-of-a-kind signage. He finds the fresh ideas seen in the shop on a daily basis inspiring. When he’s done being the CNC Master, he spends time with his wife, taking care of their cat Luna.
"None of us are getting out of here alive, so please stop treating yourself like an afterthought. Eat the delicious food. Walk in the sunshine. Jump in the ocean. Say the truth that you're carrying in your heart like hidden treasure. Be silly. Be kind. Be weird. There's no time for anything else."

Ryan "Padawan" Lazar, Production
Having recently earned his Associates Degree in Design & Media Production, Padawan came under Stephen’s wing to learn everything there is about production. Commuting from Carrollton to Marietta everyday, he does everything vinyl (laminating, trimming, and laying) and is learning more about our paint process for dimensional signs. For him, the joy of the job is seeing our designs come to life. While hard at work, you’ll catch him listening to lo-fi hip-hop until he goes home to draw or play video games like Arma 3.

Priscilla Shaw, Bookkeeping
Another snow-bird from Wisconsin, Priscilla serves as our “money lady.” As a small shop, she enjoys the family atmosphere of it all, where we’re not just colleagues but a work family. As a woman with knowledge of just about everything, she’s an excellent addition to the team. When she’s not crunching numbers, she spends time with her family in the great outdoors. She and her husband take their son fishing or hiking almost every weekend.
“Never compare your journey with someone else's. Your journey is your journey-- not a competition.”

Sarah Douglass, Social Media/Sales
Having grown up around the shop, Sarah was brought on staff to give the company a presence on social media. She has since been trained by Jon on how to make sales and talk to existing and potential clients, which has become one of her favorite parts about the job. Driven by honesty and hard work, she has learned the ins and outs of the industry to become a good point of contact for our customers. After work, you’ll catch her writing on her blog or binge watching The Office with her boyfriend.
“You own everything that happened to you. Tell your stories. If people wanted you to write warmly about them, they should have behaved better.”

Jonathan Douglass, Business Development
Starting out by commuting from Memphis to Marietta every week, Jon and his wife made Marietta their home in 2014 so his commute to work would no longer include a state line. Jon is the company’s go-to guy for answering questions and helping out when needed. Having minored in Business at Rhodes College, he has developed the company beyond the imaginable. Between his knowledge of the sign industry and his relationship with clients, Jon has been the perfect fit for the company. On the weekends, you’ll catch him and his wife traveling or hosting game nights.
“If the plan doesn’t work, change the plan but never the goal.”

Stephen Douglass, Owner
Stephen is the jack of all trades. Originally hailing from the sunny beaches of southern California, he started his sign shop in the garage of his house in the 90s after moving to Georgia. Having been self-taught in a majority of this industry, he has become an expert. He handles all things design and painting, teaching while he goes. His life is made up of signs and taking his youngest son to baseball practice and tournaments, where he is the proudest parent in the crowd.
“Hard work beats talent when talent doesn’t work hard.”
